TabWorkspace is built for students, researchers, and developers who open a full context for one project, then need to switch without losing where they were.
Bookmarks are for permanent references. TabWorkspace is for temporary working context.
Save supported tabs from the current window and close them so your browser has less to keep alive.
Restore the same set of URLs later without sorting every link into a long-term bookmark folder.
The Free plan stores one workspace with up to 5 supported tabs locally and does not require sign-in. Creating a new workspace still requires the TabWorkspace server to be reachable.
TabWorkspace is not a browser history sync service, a cloud bookmark manager, or a page-state recorder. It saves URLs, titles, favicon references, pinned state, workspace names, and color tags.
It does not save scroll position, partially filled forms, logged-in page state, video playback state, or content inside a website. Those limitations are important, and they are part of the product promise.
Premium adds unlimited workspaces, larger workspaces, JSON backup, JSON import, custom names, and color tags. Your actual tab lists still stay local unless you choose to export them yourself.
