Does TabWorkspace upload my tab URLs?
No. Workspaces are stored locally in your browser. The server handles account checks for creating new workspaces, email login, Premium activation, high-level usage counters, and support requests only.
Do I need an account?
No account is required for the Free plan, but creating a new workspace still needs the server to be reachable. Email login is only needed to activate Premium after purchase or send a support request from the extension.
What does the Free plan include?
The Free plan lets you keep one saved workspace at a time with up to 5 supported tabs, restore it in a new window, and use the core save-and-close workflow.
Can I choose which tabs are saved?
Yes. The extension shows supported tabs from the current window before saving. Selected tabs are saved and closed; unselected tabs stay open.
Can I create a workspace while offline?
No. Creating a new workspace requires the TabWorkspace server to be reachable. Existing local workspaces remain stored in your browser.
What does Premium unlock?
Premium unlocks unlimited workspaces, JSON export, JSON import, custom workspace names, and color tags.
Does restore reopen the exact same page state?
No. TabWorkspace restores URLs and pinned-tab state. It does not restore scroll position, form data, active media state, or temporary in-page app state.
What happens if I uninstall the extension?
Uninstalling the extension or clearing all browser data can delete locally stored workspaces. Premium export is the backup path for protecting your saved sessions.
Can I move workspaces to another computer?
Yes, with Premium. Export a JSON backup on one computer, move the file, and import it from the extension on the other computer.
How do I get help with Premium activation?
Sign in with the same email used at checkout. If Premium still does not unlock, contact support at support@vuvuive.org.
