TabWorkspace is designed to keep saved workspaces local. The server exists for save eligibility checks, Premium activation, account sessions, support, and abuse-resistant email verification.
TabWorkspace saves your browser workspaces in chrome.storage.local. A workspace contains URLs, titles, favicon references, pinned-tab state, name, color, and timestamps.
We do not upload or sync your workspace URLs to our server. Premium export creates a JSON file only when you explicitly click Export.
The extension stores saved workspaces and local statistics in your browser profile. This data can be removed if you uninstall the extension, clear extension storage, or clear browser data.
When you create a workspace, sign in, or purchase Premium, the service may store the minimum account and usage data needed to keep the product working:
Email sign-in uses one-time verification codes. We store temporary code records, verification history, and rate-limit records to prevent abuse.
Premium checkout is handled by a payment provider. The backend receives webhook events needed to activate a license for the checkout email. We do not store card numbers in our D1 database.
If you send support from the extension, we store your email, message, ticket ID, and creation time so we can respond.
TabWorkspace does not save scroll position, form input, private in-page state, video playback position, website content, passwords, or screenshots of your tabs.
